Who we are

Hello, I'm Bie!

I'm passionate about empowering individuals to tap into their inner wisdom and cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

Through coaching with horses, I have seen the profound impact that conscious communication, emotional intelligence and authentic connection can have on our well-being and relationships. My mission is to help others unleash their full potential, find inner peace and live a more authentic, wholehearted life.

Whether you're seeking to deepen your understanding of yourself, nurture your relationships, or simply find more balance and harmony in your daily life, I invite you to join us on this journey of discovery and growth, guided by the wisdom of the horses.

May their unbridled wisdom and majestic presence inspire and support you every step of the way.

In her career as an ethics teacher, she became fascinated by the effects of communication between teachers and students. What makes some teachers able to explode an entire class in an instant and provoke resistance, while others can calm a group down, create unity, and generate willingness? This fascination led to further research in leadership and communication skills through experiments.

The passion for creating connection and respectful communication also led to an additional career as an international integrity coach, where Bie mainly coached and advised managers, CEOs, politicians, and middle management of government agencies on how to optimize their organization's integrity policy.

Bie's experiences culminated in her promotion to the role of pedagogical advisor to coach teachers in conducting difficult conversations and preventing polarization and radicalization by integrating communication and leadership skills that promote coexistence within the educational landscape.

my story

From a young age, she was irreversibly captivated by the intriguing world of horses, and this fascination would remain a constant presence in her life. Bie literally grew up among horses, which had a significant impact on both her personal development, her empathetic skills, and her fascination with social interactions.

Her interest in social interactions resulted in several qualitative social studies on the effects of implicit and explicit communication. Bie graduated as a master in Moral Philosophy. Meanwhile, in her spare time, she examined the social dynamics and communication methods of horses. How do horses communicate with each other? What do they communicate? When? Why? How do they use energy as a means of communication? And most importantly, what can we learn from them? Bie specialized over the years in reading and handling horse communication.

"The wisdom of horses has guided me throughout my career. No matter how busy I was or how full my head was, when I came home to my horses I could always ground myself again putting things back into perspective."

The arrival of motherhood marked a significant milestone in Bie's life, prompting her to reassess her goals and values, and ultimately leading her to embark on a new career path as a Horse Assisted Coach.

"It felt like all puzzle pieces fell togetherwhen I decided establishing Equi Passant. My passion for people and horses, combined with the insights I've gained throughout my career and through workingwith horses, all come together seamlessly in the vision of Equi Passant. My mission now is to share this with others and inspire the world with the pure and authenticwisdom of the horses."

In contrast to his baroque appearance, he is extremely sensitive and empathetic. Hadar looks deep into your soul and feels both your conscious and subconscious feelings very precisely. As the leader of the herd, he knows how to convey hismessage in a clear way without being too harsh. He has been both an inspiring master and a big cuddle bear for many people.

Hadar

Irafao is Hadar's younger brother. Both were born and raised in our family.

Irafao is a real Benjamin, under the strong wings of his tough big brother he hops through life happily and enjoys his family privilege as brother of the leader. Irafao is very honest and straightforward in all his communications. He takes care of himself but also loves to engage in authentic communication. He is a very curious gelding. His way of being in life is very inspiring and encourages self-reflection.

Irafao

Mina has only been part of our herd for 2 years and not much is known about her past. She is very sweet and reliable, even with very young children, but in the pasture she is a free bird. Mina does exactly what she wants and always knows how to find a way to achieve her goal without caring about the herd.

Mina is not the type of pony to be easily plucked from the pasture, she is more likely to be the one who chooses you than the other way around.

MINA

Currently my horses, along with three Portuguese mares, form a beautiful and harmonious herd in the westernmost tip of Europe, Cabo da Roca.

During the coaching sessions, the other horses in the herd undoubtedly add significant value. They are curious and always willing to engage. Their presence has already led to many profound and touching insights. I am incredibly grateful for their contribution.Horses don’t require formal equine coach training—when their authenticity and expressiveness are respected, it’s simply their natural state.
